By supporting promising graduate students who study with distinguished faculty and their dynamic peers, the Center fosters alumni who span all academic disciplines and are now influential leaders in their respective fields. 

UCLA graduate students from disciplines ranging from Musicology to Comparative Literature, from Near Eastern Languages and Cultures to History, from World Arts and Culture to Applied Linguistics, and from English to French to Theater, Film & TV are researching topics within Jewish Studies.

Thinking Beyond the Canon: New Themes and Approaches in Jewish Studies is the topic of an international conference for graduate students on March 8-9, 2015 at UCLA.  Request for Proposals are due October 31, 2014.
